Rough sizing by tile
- Mosaics & small tile (up to ~6"): 3/16" or 1/4" V-notch or square-notch.
- Standard wall/floor (8"–12"): 1/4" x 1/4" or 1/4" x 3/8" square-notch.
- Large tile (12"–16"): 1/2" x 1/2" square or U-notch.

Square vs U vs V notch
