Novonivel® Aluminum

Novonivel® Aluminium is a made of aluminium transition profile designed to be installed as a separator between floorings with different thickness. This profile protects and decorates the floor and provides with the resistance and lightness of aluminium. Easy to install, is delivered with matt silver finish, so you can get a perfect and aesthetic finish.

Transition profile to avoid the difference of level created when laying floorings at different height, as when a new flooring is layed onto an old one. This is very common in restoration works.

We will prepare the flooring onto the minted wing of the profile trying that the fixing material comes through the minting to achieve an optimal fixation.

Applications:
Novonivel® Aluminium is a profile designed to its placement in pavements, to avoid discontinuities safely. This profile has a wide non-slip face side and it is suitable for pedestrian or traffic. Some of its applications, for example, are:- Discontinuities in pavements outdoors or indoors.
- Entrances of garages
- Entrances of stablishments
- Public areas.  

Materials:
Novonivel® aluminium is a profile made by extrusion of aluminium. These profiles have been anodized, improving mainly by this process their corrosion and mechanical resistance and their appearance. The anodized applied, has the quality seal “Qualanod” which guarantees the quality of the process and the resulting profiles. This seal regulates several tests: appearance and color, thickness measurements,
sealing and impregnation control, abrasion resistance, lightfastness, acetic saline chamber and nitric acid immersion.

Placement:

1. Spread a big amount of gripping material on the surface where you will install the profile.
2. Then, place the profile and press it to let gripping material pass through the mechanized holes of the fixing wing.
3. Place a tile on the fixing wing and press it to achieve an optimal contact with the gripping material.
4. Repeat the process, placing tiles along the fixing wing of the profile.
5. Finally, clean the remaining material and let dry.
